This was our regular stop when traveling from Louisiana to Ohio. Only 1time had a problem and it was a broken fridge.

Stayed here after leaving another property that simply wasn't clean.
This motel is a delight. The owner/manager takes pride in this establishment.
Noteworthy details: Wood shutters on the windows in addition to the regular curtains you normally see.

Although the place itself is an older place, I was pleasantly surprised how the rooms were. I have worked in the hotel industry for 11 years so when I saw the outside the building, I wasn't sure how the inside would look.
However, the rooms were very clean, except for a brown weird smudge on the bathroom wall and a similar weird brown mark on the wall next to the bed.
so the rooms were really nice,
however, when I went to breakfast the next morning it was horrifying. the girl working the front desk was really busy and there was no breakfast attendant....trash cans were full and literally overflowing onto the floor.
The breakfast area was so messy with gravy everywhere. The sausage was gone almost no eggs were available. It was a mess and I know it wasn't her fault. It was the sloppy hotel guests. But I felt so bad for her not having any help.

Easy location to get on and off the interstate on our way to Orange Beach. Easy check in and check out. The room was very clean and adequate. The beds were comfortable and I felt safe in this area. In addition, the breakfast offered several options and it was quite nice. A good option for an overnight stay if you are passing through the area.
