We went to the Athens, AL KFC for takeout food for a family gathering, so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but the service was reasonably fast and the food we got was good - typical KFC fare. It met all of our expectations for KFC. Would probably go there again for the same type of food.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I would have to rate this KFC right up there with Chik filet... At the top! It was very clean inside, the employees were very attentive to their customers, checked on us as we sat and ate our dinner, it was very enjoyable. Our Small town KFC hit the mark as majority of the fast foods restaurants are just plain awful dirty and employees with attitudes. Not this place, caring employees and clean atmosphere that served hot clean food, I had to pinch myself and read the sign outside that reminded me i was at KFC not Chik filet! Worth the visit!!! Store owner should be very proud of his staff! BRAVO!
