image I am a sub contractor who has worked with this guy. So I know directly about what Im talking about. His communication is awful,he is unresponsive. He owes me 36k now over two months. Be careful if you consider him. Do not pay upfront. He owes others as well. Dont put your trust in this guy. Research him first.

image It would be great, if when you start a job the contractor can actually finish the job. Worst experience I have had with a contractor in my life. A lot of delays, people are never on time and they do not complete the jobs.

image My wife and I have been wanting to do something with our kitchen for a while. And with my in-laws going out of the country, we thought it would be a good opportunity to pack up our family and move out while getting some things done. We essentially wanted new countertops, sink, fixtures and add some cabinets on the backside of our existing cabinets. I reached out to a family friend who is a contractor to see if he could do what would be a small job for him. But with our short time window, he suggested Vincent Remodeling.I had already been through the decision that as opposed to trying to do a lot of the work myself and only paying people for the things I couldn't do, I would just pay to have everything done from beginning to end. That was expressed very early on. I had them come over to discuss the plan, and nothing was written down. Numerous times I had to remind them of things we had discussed on quite a few occasions. They did connect us with a discount stone guy and we got a pretty deal on quartz. But that was about the only real great positive out of all of this. The timeline was not very openly discussed and this project ended up lasting a few weeks. I felt like I was constantly the one prompting to get things done and having to remind of other things. I was assuming since they were ripping out things and spackle the walls, touch up paint was part of that "everything done from beginning to end". They agreed to do it. But the people who came left paint drips and all in all did a terrible job. Which I will have to go back and do myself. The stone guy apparently cut our slap too small. And where we were supposed to have an overhang is just flush... but I guess that is lucky it was no shorter. But because I paid the stone guy directly, I was treated like that was between me and the stone guy... not Vincent Remodeling. But with the lack of communication and notes of the project along the way, I blame bad communication for the mistakes. I asked about protecting furniture and they said it would all be fine. But some chemicals (I assume from sealing the stone), took the stain off of our dining room chairs. Just a lot of hassles on something I was paying to not have hassles over.Since this was not a complete overhaul of a project, it would be deemed small. And I honestly felt like I was treated like that the entire time since I was only spending a few thousand on this. Which I do understand to some degree. But if you are willing to accept a job no matter the size, you should treat customers with the same care and attention to detail as you would with any project. The end product is pretty good for the most part. But there are a ton of things that I notice and could have been made much better with some attention to detail and making sure they were doing their best work.
