Went to the ER and had a great provider! The nurse practitioner Mrs. Jones was so nice and thorough. I truly felt better when I left.

My family call an ambulance for me and when I arrived, there was blood on the cabinets on both sides of the room. The floor looked like the original color was cream but hadn't been cleaned in so long the color was grey. I was treated like a druggie. Because my heart rate was high, they asked me if I did cocaine. What?! Crazy! Maybe it's because I was having a seizure. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone in Troy. If your insurance allows, go to Dothan, Ozark or Montgomery. NASTY!

My daughter is in college at Troy but we are Florida residents. My daughter had to go to the ER one night. She asked about insurance before and they told her yes they would take hers. She then received a bill for over a thousand dollars from a third party company. Supposedly the hospital filed for the services she received and this other company bills for the doctor she saw for a matter of minutes. She was not told this by the hospital when they told her they would take her insurance. It is ridiculous that a hospital charged insurance thousands of dollars but then a doctor sends a bill from a third party company. My daughter will not ever go back. I will have her brought by ambulance back to Florida first. If someone asks about the billing process you think you would include that you as the hospital apparently do not pat your doctors.
