image Failed to pick up my home good back in March. Then proceeded to ship them. Instead of delivering 2000lbs of my home goods. It showed that one 1lb was delivered. I kept trying to contact them and call but got no where. I was finally able to ship my items with a different company. I never have written a review ab any of my bad experiences anywhere but this was crazy.

image Great company! They were timely and very professional. Not a single item was broken and everything arrived on-time (actually 3 days early) and was unloaded the exact way we wanted it. I will be using this company again for my next PCS. Strong recommendation - best moving company I have ever used.

image I am convinced that all of the good reviews are from bots! This the worst company that the military can contract through. We were on hold for over an hour just to not get to talk to anyone about our shipment. They are very unprofessional and lack integrity in giving correct information in shipment location and arrival date. We were told by several employees that our shipment arrived on June 22 at the port with expected delivery on July 1st and they were awaiting to get delivery dates from the moving company assigned to deliver our household goods. After several weeks go by we didnt hear anything. We contacted the moving company just to be informed that they were NEVER CONTACTED! so which is it ? Are you waiting on the movers or yall have no idea where our household goods are? At this point we are going to take ever action necessary to make sure this company does not get any more military business! Every review they apologize for the frustration and that they can assure that the experience encountered was not typical, I beg to differ! We are furious ! Our children are suffering, we are in an empty house and are pretty much being force to re buy things just to be comfortable. To the date, we can not get anyone on the phone as well as figure where our belongings are! If there was a 0 rating I would definitely hand this company it with pleasure! For future PCS members coming to the Virginia area find out who they are going to be handing your things over too and 100% let them know you do not want Cartwright Companies handling your shipment because I can promise you it will be the worst experience ever!!

Hi, there, Kinsai, please note that these review responses are indeed made by a real human. Please also note that we looked into your file as best we could without you providing any contact information, and it seems that delivery was offered on 6/26, but you refused it. That said, the destination agents were booked 3 weeks out, with next available delivery date of 7/19. It's very typical for east coast agents to be booked solid during peak moving season, which explains the 3-week delay. We have a robust system for keeping service members updated on shipment status, and notifications are sent out via email to the email address we have on file for the service member. Sometimes, spouses feel like there has been no communication when in fact the email updates have been overlooked in service member's email inbox, which is beyond our control. Please understand that we make every effort to keep you informed and that it's possible that our email updates communications go unread or unseen. As for calling our offices, we not only have employees taking calls throughout the business day but also have a back-up call center to cover calls made after hours in order to best care for the families we're moving. We're not sure what phone number you have been using -- please know we make every effort to be available via phone but that sometimes there may be a call backlog due to sheer number of people we move every year. That said, you can also always email us to inquire about shipment status and we will make sure your inquiry gets to the correct person. We hate that you had a negative moving experience and do hope you get settled in and start feeling at home in no time. We understand how tough it is to move internationally - several of us have done it ourselves - and we wish you the best in your new location.

image timeliness was awful. I was told multiple different time frames and ended up waitinga little over 6 months to receiveany of my home goods. The move experiencewas terribleand customer service rushes you off the phone if you have questions. Considering my home goods were not going to japan and were going to the UK, Proves how much you value your customers and proper delivery. Cartwright is by far the worst experienceI've had for a PCS and will never be using them again. Brianna from international would get angry if I called the portand constantly promised updates that were never sent. I was in limbo after being promised an April delivery and then it continuouslygot changed to a week from the time frame she stated until June/July came around. After June/ July came around I wasable to call my destination movers who wereactually helpful. She told me multiple times it was on a vessel and on its way here when instead it was still sitting at the port in Seattle or on a train going to anotherlocation. Brianna also decided to tell me not to call the port and not to call destinationmovers because she had the accurateinformation (which she did not). The most accurate information I receivedwas when I called the ports in Seattle myself to figure it out. Giving customers a false peace of mind for home goods shipment is not a good practice. My wifes home goods were sent 3 months after and through a different company and still managed to get here before mine with cartwright

We have gone back through and listened to all the phone calls that our employee had with you to make sure she wasn't rude or angry, as we take customer service very seriously and do not tolerate rudeness from our employees. We feel like she was clear and upfront with you from the beginning, with a tone of voice that was calm and informative, not angry. Please understand that it is our company policy that we do not give out port agents' contact information, because as a TSP it is our responsibility to relay relevant information to the service member. There were significant delays on this shipment that were out of our control, from major congestion at the railways and ports to other unforeseeable issues. While that doesn't minimize the frustration on your end, please know that we are 100% committed to making this process as stress-free as possible. We have robust systems in place for ensuring you stay up-to-date with the necessary information as your shipment moves to your new destination. We do wish you the best as you get settled in your new location and begin a new life.
