Wow!!!! Best Roofing Contractor Ever! After reaching out to 2 other roofing contractors who had very high reviews, they both told me I needed a new roof and were not able to do repairs, then Bill Shields came to my rescue. They repaired my roof and soffit and did some general maintenance, saving me thousands $$$! They are honest, competent and I will trust no other roofer going forward. Thank you so much Bill Shields. You are simply the very best in Tampa Bay!

This company treats its workers very badly. They don't want them to have time to eat. I worked for 2 years with Bill Shieds and 8 days ago I quit working because they don't give you time to eat and the security is too bad.

These folks know their job, understand customer service and give good quality work which is a value albeit expensive. First, they come fast for an estimate. Yes they call you back when others didnt. The contract is easy to understand. Unlike other contractors, the manager (Christina) knows whats going on and keeps you in the loop. Excellent communication. No surprises. Our estimate went about 5k over estimate but that was expected either all the wood they had to replace. They arranged for a wind mitigation specialist to come afterwards to do a report so one can submit it to your insurance company for a decrease in premium. It wasnt small either.
The only negative was that the guys trampled our flowers and didnt clean up as well as they should have leaving pieces of shingles, nails and even some larger stuff but I kind of expected some of that. Despite this I would highly recommend them and would get them again. One other negative: It takes them a month to cash their check!
