I absolutely dispise this hospital. They are the slowest hospital I've ever been to. They WILL call CPS on you if your kids have a bruise from being a kid and falling. They've called CPS on me 2 times and LIED to the cps workers. I have stayed the 6 plus hour wait only 1 time out of 4 times I've been there. I always end up leaving and going to Seattle children's because of the level of disconcern for their patients. Plus when you do finally see a doctor after waiting in a waiting room for 6 plus hours, they rush you and tell you to check in with their provider after doing no tests. It is not a hospital I will be taking my kids too again. Nothing but problems.

It seems like the people that work here really hate their job. I dont know why theyre working in pediatric care if they dont have the compassion and patience for those going through a tough time. They treat people like theyre stupid, instead of understanding that if their kid is in the ER, their minds are probably all over the place and not all there. I see the person responding to these negative reviews saying theyre taking notes to improve but what exactly are you doing to improve? You have a 3 star rating on Google, you cant possibly think this place provides great care. Does this not concern you enough to make these changes NOW? When it involves our kids, we deserve better from you.

My daughter and I brought both her children around 9 pm because the nurse hot line had advised her to do so because the baby had fever and throwing up along with her son having a difficult time breathing. Now it after 12am

This is for the behavioral health side. A child in our care
was hospitalized. On Sun., Jan. 14, 2024, we called to check in and was told by a male staff-"E." that 'we couldn't get information.' After being undermined for about 7-10 min., I asked for the head nurse. The HN, "G," agreed with the staff and argued about me inquiring. She asked me to "calm down ." As I calmly asked questions, she said, 'I was hostile.' I know this was to paint a false narrative for those around her. She hung up in my face. I called later to speak to the adolescent and was told by "E" and "G" that 'the child refused to talk. I later learned this was erroneous. This was an example of insensitivity, injustice, particularly for Black, Brown, disadvantaged, and foreign families. Movie, "What About Maya."

Absolutely horrible place. My 7 week old was seen here for an upper respiratory infection and I am appalled with how they handled her. She was given not one but THREE catheter attempts. She would urinate before the attempts and the staff wouldn't be able to get a sample. On the third try they brought in an ultrasound machine to see if it was a good time to attempt it again. Why wasn't this done in the first place!? And the tech who set the IV missed her mark and dug into my daughter's hands instead of reattempting it. I had to tell her to stop. I made a complaint to their complaint department and it was basically brushed off. They said an investigation showed no issues. An investigation by people who work for Mary Bridge of course. What a joke. I'll be looking at other avenues for a proper resolution.
