We've been with Dr. Dolores for 18 years. She's been an amazing doctor, funny, patient and caring. We only have two years left! We'll miss her when that time comes.

Here are some observations about Dr Dolores which might be helpful especially to the new parents.
We live in 5 mins of driving distance with Dr Dolores, which was essentially the reason we selected her to take care of our newborn child. As new parents, you tend to have a lot of questions (especially when its your first child and you have no help from elderly household, PS - its me and my wife only). You tend to panick with even a smallest and silliest scenario with the child, which might be obvious for elderly or existing parents, but is scariest as the new parents. It took 1 late night and 1 evening phone call to her (1st for child vomiting and 2nd for childs heavy grunting) to lose all the patience she had for us. The immediate visit after this, every discussion was an argument of why those were not normal office hour calls. Even legitimate questions were discarded and she didnt take anything seriously after.
Her general reply to majority questions are- google before you call. We asked whether we give Vit d or not to the newborn. She said - whatever you prefer.
My wife asked about vaccinations schedule and she didnt care to answer for that question with grudge for late night calls going in her mind all the time.
Normally, every answer she had for our newborn was - its normal and you just need to deal with it.
This practice is totally fine if you love a argumentative caretaker for your child, with no empathy and only care about physically visits for making consultations eligible for insurance payments.

Dr. Dolores was my pediatrician, my brothers, my nephews and now my daughters. We have always loved her and the practice. For the past few months she has seemed less caring about situations, annoyed about certain questions and just overall not the kind of pediatrician a first time parent would want. Our daughter whos 9 months was just diagnosed with COVID and we called to get information. I specifically asked for the DOCTOR to call me which I did last time as well. Again, she had the front office girl call me back. Her feedback was that my daughter got it through breastfeeding (which she had originally said couldnt happen) and not to give her any medication?! To just monitor her. Ridiculous. From all the articles Ive read including the CDC site, Covid cannot be passed through breastmilk. This was the last straw. We are having our stuff moved to a new pediatrician. Before this year we have never really had issues with her. Im not quite sure what is going on but Im not going to deal with it any longer.
