The ambience is worth 5 stars for sure!! Great for a date night ! Staff are attentive and provide great service. Drinks - go for the cocktails! We sometimes just go there for cocktails (as there is no cocktail bar in our areas). The bartenders are legit! Mixology type :)Food-wise... They are good but not mind blowing. Definitely go for the duck (if you like duck) as that is consistently delicious! I had other entrees, which were okay. Are they worth the price? Well, let's say the ambience and the service make it worthy.I will recommend Mirabelle for a romantic dinner!

Went to have lunch at the Tavern during Christmas. I called ahead and made a reservation and asked to be seated at the table by the fireplace. I was told "not a problem." When we arrived, the hostess walked us in and went past the table. When I said no, we're supposed to sit by the fire (the table was empty) she said that I only "requested" it and that they don't "reserve" it. That was not what I was told on the phone when I made the reservation, obviously, or I wouldn't have come. My 95 year old mother loved sitting there and she was visiting during the holidays so I made the reservation for her.
I asked why we couldn't sit there since it was empty and her response was to stare at me and smile. I asked again and was given the same non-reply. She stated she would seat us elsewhere if we wanted - there were only a handful of people even in the restaurant.
At that point I was so disgusted with her that we left. We were never given a reason as to why we couldn't sit at an empty table, but she left the impression that someone more important must be arriving soon. But if they don't "reserve" that table, how could someone else be sitting there if we were there first??????
The food is mediocre here at best. There are far better restaurants in the surrounding area so one would think they'd try and hold onto the customers they have left. I will not be one of them ever again.
