Wife had an appointment to see the Orthopedic Doctor Pipitone at the hospital for 9:30a. Got there, checked in and then waited around 20-30 minutes before the girl at the desk told us Doctor Pipitone is not at the hospital today and is rescheduled for next Monday. No one called us to say he would not be there today and since we come from Brooklyn, had to pay the tolls($12+) and gas money also a $5 fee for the parking lot. Shame on them for not notifying us of this. Not very professional.

Long Long Long wait times. To see your primary care doctor or just for labs, youll be waiting FOREVER?? Such as shame, large facility, seems to be fully staffed and yet the wait times are very long? I will be switching my primary care doctor because this is absolutely ridiculous! But thats not the worst part, the registration staff are very rude!! All female staff sitting there with an attitude like you disrupted their whole entire life.

One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. I waited over an hour on hold for a nurse. I gave up and called back to be told the Nurse is out to lunch and I needed to call back after 1:30 pm. I was told by a clerical person this clinic is busy so that's what happens. We are all busy! I call back at 1:45 pm finally get transferred to a nurse to be told I had to call and speak with the doctor tomorrow. Coming from someone who works in healthcare it's unacceptable to treat your patients that way. I spent half the day on hold or calling to no avail and accomplished absolutely nothing. You need better processes in place for patients to communicate with their providers and/or care teams. As well as transparency as to what the expectation when trying to reach a "live" person.
