After comparing various plan options with Reiner Insurance and changing my auto policy to Plymouth Rock, I paid the year's premium in full. 1 month later, I began receiving notices from Plymouth Rock that I owed an additional 17% cost to the yearly premium. Reiner Insurance did not resolve the matter, and attributed it to a "rating error." This was a bait-and-switch that will keep me from coming back for future insurance plans.

David Kittle was referred to me by my old insurance provider, as my car insurance sky rocketed. David has been nothing short of amazing -- extremely personable, accommodating, very knowledgeable, with excellent communication, and customer service. I am incredibly grateful for all of his help. I like to know who I am buying from, because I like to connect with people that I work with, and if you're looking for that with a great experience, Reiner Insurance, and David Kittle are exactly who you need!

Jack Reiner was introduced to me by my real estate attorney when I was selling my home. I explained to Jack that the renters insurance was for a short period during a user occupancy stay. I was charged for a specific amount and was told that I will receive a prorated refund when I cancel the policy. I cancelled my policy through Jack Reiner office and never received any refund from the insurance company for over a month. Jack was quick in getting a renters insurance. However, when I cancelled my renters insurance, he wouldn't even work to follow-up on the refund. He literally emailed back to me with a short sentence "Call the carrier for your refund status". So, here is an agent who isnt willing to assist the referral from a real estate attorney in the refund process and leaves the customer hanging. I had to call the insurance company myself at 5AM PST to get the refund. Please do yourself a favor. Stay away from them.
FYI, the reply below from Jack is a lame excuse. BTW, I had already updated the insurance company of my new address. I also have USPS forwarding service. The point here is that Jack Reiner wasn't willing to work with his client (me) to assist with a refund. If you want an agent that is willing to find you a deal, go for it. But if you wish to have an agent that will work with you when it is needed, then Jack is not the one.

Jack Reiner was extremely professional day one. My broker referred me to him as I was buying my current home. Jack spent a fair amount of time providing me different proposals and delineating the differences between them. In the end he geared me toward a policy that he felt was right for my family. A couple of months later Hurricane Sandy. This was my first experience with the company he chose for me and within 48 hours I was reimbursed for damages. I was impressed not only with the fact that the claim process was benign but Jack made every effort to stay in touch with me despite all the communication problems and power outages. He has also put me in touch with several service professionals that he has known for years and feels he can trust. It feels very homey to call his office and I felt compelled to share my experience since I believe many people blog and review service professionals who screw up or otherwise deserve criticism more freely than those who deserve a kudos, and to Reiner Insurance I say - great job, keep it up.
