Pinnacle was recommended to us a few years ago by my late father in law, a fellow I appreciated as least as much for his wisdom as I did his wit, and he was quite witty. The accountant I'd used for nearly 2 decades from the time I'd first started my company in 1998 in St. Louis had retired, and we'd gone with a local mom and pop firm in Springfield for one year following that, and had concerns. My wife and I had a meeting with another accountant, and I really liked the guy. But my wife noticed he made several mistakes - which he admitted - and wanted us to visit with Crystal at Pinnacle before we settled on him. Wise lady, just like her dad.
We'd spent over an hour with that other fellow, who never caught it, but within 10 minutes of talking to Crystal, she spotted a major error the mom and pop firm had made, and if we didn't pay a substantial amount to the IRS within only a few days from a deadline, we were looking at a major penalty. I hired her on the spot and got the check in the mail immediately to the IRS, and we've never looked back. She has been a pleasure to work with. Totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, and if she doesn't know an answer, she will find it for you.
In more recent time we've been working with Brian on the investment side, and he is now managing a decent portion of our life savings. Again a totally positive experience. If you need totally competent, very reasonably priced individuals you can trust to handle your finances, look no further.
