I have never had anyone be rude to me or miss an appointment.The problem is confusion from changing case workers frequently. I find I have to verify appointments kind-of solves the problem. You also need to follow up on any issues you have. They are dealing with thousands of clients. You need to be proactive with your health care needs.I find that with CommonCareAlliance, GSSS & a good Senior Center.. its a good combination..They have helped me many times and I am grateful.

Not professional. Make appointments and don't keep them. I hope they are not being paid with our tax dollars because if they are we are getting ripped off!

They came to my home, but I was not there, they grilled my wife about where I was, and what was I doing. I called and made an appointment to meet them, but when I called to confirm they had no idea what I was talking about. I made another appointment, I called and confirmed, so I walked to the meeting place. I waited 15 minutes and called, it seemed they were running late, but they'd be there. I waited another 20 minutes, it was 88 degrees, and I was in the sun. So I left. I called to complain, no word back. I then called to make a telephone appointment, when 15 minutes had passed I called the woman whom I had made the appointment with, and she had no idea what I was talking about. So they don't seem to be very competent.

I found them to be completely unhelpful after using advanced home care. .
I had a major spine surgery in 2021. Commonwealth Care alliance and Springfield Senior services we're working together in coordinatingin my personal care assistant (PCA). Whose primary function was to help me function with bathroom help, food, getting dressed in and out of bed....
When I got home I NEVER was contacted by greater Springfield Senior services to make sure the services agreed upon between my insurance company at greater Springfield Senior services that a personal care assistant was here when I got home.
Logically and what makes sense is that someone had arranged with the insurance company make sure these services were in order awaiting the approval from commonwealthcare alliance.
The answer I got from greater Springfield Senior services was that they never received the fax??
Well if the arrangements had already been made the ball drops on greater Springfield Senior services end because they were the primary source was the insurance approved it and they had already pre-arranged it to be done that they let the ball drop.
They've been a difficult agency since 2021 getting me home making services and have had many many changes in case managers.
No one knowing what the previous had done.
