I had to try Subway after many years away because of their fresh cut meat advertising. I really couldn't tell much of a difference. The meat was probably sliced today but was thrown into a pot in the prep area. The cheese was like it always was; peeled off a block. Today, their produce had been in the storage containers for days. Wilty lettuce and mushy tomatoes. They are like wack-a-mole. They seem to fix one thing, and something else gets ignored.

11/17/23, 5:40pm, No one greets you here. They dont smile. In fact, they act like youre bothering them.
When I told the young girl that I wanted a foot-long flatbread sandwich, she just blankly stared at me, and then walked out of view. No acknowledgment.
When the young guy came over, he just stared at me. I told him I wanted a foot-long sandwich on flatbread. No response, he finally gets the bread after he puts the rack away and moves some other stuff around all without acknowledging me. Then he throws the ham on the sandwich in a lump and proceeds to put cheese on top of it. When I asked him to spread it out, most of the meat is at one end, and one piece is on the other end. I asked him again to straighten it out. He acted like I asked him to change my tire.
I informed both of them that if they hated the job so much, they shouldnt work here. Do they realize that Customer Service is their job?
Went to Jimmy Johns where I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello; also a suggestion on my order and a complete sandwich that wasnt jacked up. Oh, I also had a free sandwich on my rewards card, which they pointed out to me.
This Subway is so hit or miss with its service that its just not worth it to me anymore. I work hard and I dont appreciate being treated this way when Im coming into an establishment to spend my money.
Hire people who care about the customers.
