image this school is a mess when it comes to prioritizing students mental health. i tried to seek counseling at the school and the only thing they could offer were simple breathing exercises. then when they offered to help me find a therapist, outside of school that fit with my insurance, they were anything but help and i simply never reached out to them again. spoke to my academic advisor about the struggles of my mental health and how it had affected my academics and her first reaction was to start shaming and guilt tripping me. thats when i realized this school was anything but a healthy environment along with some professors who think saying slurs in classrooms is okay because its a part of the passage. let me also mention the staff of seton hall being transphobic as well! seton hall loves to point out their diverse student body but its nothing more of a typical predominantly white school. did i also mention when women/feminine presenting people started complaining about harassments at the university gym, the schools first and only response was to have a womens only hour a useless band aid solution that didnt solve anything! on campus i heard men saying they were being victimized because of this and it was appalling to hear. its safe to safe i dont recommend this school to anyone.

image My son will be attending this school in the fall. I love the campus as well as the classes and programs that are being offered to him. His counselor Audrey Anan and financial advisor Amy Brener are excellent, and extremely helpful as well as knowledgeable. These 2 women have been outstanding with helping me understand the financial aid, scholarships and grants that my son has received. However, there is a man in the financial aid department Adill(wouldnt provide a last name) is a complete jerk and should not be allowed to speak with parents at all. This is already a stressful process and can also be confusing for parents as well as students. You would think that this idiot would be more understanding and compassionate towards us. We are sending our children here to get an education and to be welcomed into an environment where they can succeed. This is an extremely expensive school but my son has received a significant amount of funding that doesnt have to be paid back so I just needed to know if I had any out of pocket expenses for things and just basic questions about his upcoming freshman year. This man Adill spoke to me as if I was a child and not a parent, very condescending and arrogant. I hope someone above him responds to this review and reprimands his behavior.

image one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. this institution doesnt care about their trans and indigenous students. they offer courses that supposedly provide a wide array of perspectives almost all of my professors were/are white, catholic, and cisgendered. why am i enrolled in classes that find it acceptable to throw around slurs, naming them historical terms? why is my math professor inaccurately teaching Egyptian and Chinese numeration systems, westernizing them for the students understanding?
the instruction is so irresponsible and ignorant.
