Last week my hot water heater reached the end of its useful life. Originally installed by Dave Goldberg Plumbing about 18 years ago, it served us well. I called Goldberg and the next day they came with a new replacement. The price was reasonable and the work was performed to my complete satisfaction. They took their time with the installation and kept the area clean.
Anthony was fantastic. He dedicated the time to explain about the new heater and patiently answered all my questions. I definitely would recommend Goldberg Plumbing & Heating.

Had to get a new stem value due to dripping of my shower, I had no issue with the price of the service for the hourly cost of $195 per hour but I did have an issue with the cost of materials being $180. I felt the part was not being honestly priced and was given mismatched stories from the plumber and telephone line on reasoning for pricing. I do not mind if the part costs less, even if you sell it for 2-3x mark-up but honesty is important to me and I felt it was not here. While this may be a small job in the past I have had similar issues using this service and will not be using this plumbing service going forward.

Thank you Dave Goldberg Plumbing. I had a hot water heating issue and your company was right on top of the situation with same day response. Your office staff should be recognized for their professional and courteous customer service.
I'd like to give a special shout out to Carlos and Jimmy. Carlos was able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. His apprentice Jimmy is certainly learning from him and was in lock step without needing instruction. Before leaving, everything was tested and up and running as it should be.

I had a leaky shower faucet in my kid's bathroom and called Goldberg at 10:13 AM on a Wednesday morning. I haven't had the best experience with plumbers in the past and was paranoid that I won't have someone come for such a small job and/or will be told I need to replace the whole shower system to make it worth their time. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to send someone over today and was given a window between 2 to 4. They called me back at 12:47 telling me that they've finished their other job early and can come over now. Carlos showed up at 1:13 and within 5 minutes of seeing my faucet, he diagnosed the issue to be worn out washers. I can't say enough of the great experience I had with Carlos and will definitely recommend Goldberg going forward.

Goldberg Plumbing installed a new well pump with controller and electrical cabling for me at my home in Yorktown Heights, in the middle of a snow storm! I called in an emergency, no water condition, and they responded. A many thanks goes to Zoanne (sorry if I mispelled) in the office, Carlos and Kevin in the field!
