Joe has been preparing our corporate and personal tax returns for the last 10+ years. I went to Joe for the first time in 2022 for 2021 taxes. A month after I dropped off my taxes, he called me and stated he filed an extension. Around September, he said I could pick up my taxes. The fact that I owed the IRS $5000.00 not including state taxes, did not sit well, so I had a coworker review. The first thing she noticed, despite the fact I own 2 houses, he failed to list any mortgage interest. I received a bill from the IRS for $6000.00. When I called, they said it was penalties and interest because an extension was never filed. When I called The office, I was told he was on vacation for the month of October, so I paid the IRS. When I spoke to Joe, the beginning of November, made an appointment for an amendment, he said his office doesnt file for extensions, that was up to me. He took no responsibility and I am still waiting for money the IRS owes to me.

Joe has been my accountant for close to 30 years. He has handled everything from preparing my annual personal tax returns to providing advice and guidance on complex family tax issues.
