Cristin and Andy, my physical therapists at NRH are excellent! My treatment plan successfully focused on simultaneously strengthening weak muscle groups and improving balance. I highly recommend them!

My needs were carefully and accurately assessed. Now the appropriate exercises and strengthening movements are being assigned and observed under supervision. My progress was assessed and additional activities added. The therapist is cordial, pleasant, kind and caring.

I am receiving facial palsy therapy from Patricia (Trish) Esposito. This skillset is hard to find at most rehabilitation centers, but I am so blessed to be under the care of Trish. To find this expertise covered by insurance is rare, so I treasure this time with her. I had acoustic neuroma surgery two years ago which resulted in loss of hearing in my right ear, loss of balance on my right side and facial palsy on my right side. I spent 21 months concentrating on my vestibular function. I started with Trish at the beginning of February 2024 and within a month I've experienced great progress. Nerves take a long time to heal and much of my recovery is dependent on ME practicing facial exercises three times a day. Trish is an encourager and has given me great tools to put me on the path to success. My facial palsy recovery may not happen overnight, but I believe with the progress I'm making, I am well on my way!!
