my terrace deck (3rd floor, attached to room with its own roof) was built by roof solutions in 2015. the roof underlying the deck replaced at the same time. must have been a less than up to par job, as the impermeable lining used was inadequately secured by the wall flashings and termination bars. this, of course, led to a leak. despite still being under warranty, every excuse was given as to why it was no longer covered. the representative who visited felt that the deck work was ok, but the roof of the building (roof of the attached room) needed to be replaced. this was done at a cost of $11,400 and ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY as that roof in retrospect was entirely intact; russell, the owner, is under the impression that complimentary services to temporize siding defects were offered. this is absolutely false - nothing complimentary was ever offered. the siding installed by roof solutions needed to be repaired, but NOT at their cost despite being under warranty. when i told the on site representative that finding a company to perform the repairs was difficult, Russell, the owner decided to do me a "favor." although the rep made it clear that roof solutions no longer provide siding work, since my search for a company was leading nowhere, he would take care of it. several days later i received a proposal to repair the siding of this small terrace for $28,800; the other proposals ranged from $7000-9000. this was Russell's "favor!" my condo association used his company both in 2015 and again several weeks ago for what turned out to be a totally unnecessary roof replacement. draw your own conclusions.

Richard, Roof Solutions replaced the terrace roof 2015. There has been zero issues with the roof since the installation. We were called out to inspect a reported leak showing up on the ceiling July of 2023. The technician was shown two leaks on different levels of the house. One leak was on the ceiling below the upper most roof. The upper most roof is above the terrace roof and was not worked on my Roof Solutions. We furnished pictures of the failing roof and a proposal to replace the roof. This proposal was accepted in August 2023 and we completed the work shortly after.The second leak was on the ceiling below where the terrace roof meets the wall & sliding door of the top floor. The technician show the deficiencies with the siding seams and the siding pulling away. The siding was not a part of the terrace roof work that was completed in 2015. The technician offered to seal the seams of the siding, at no cost, as a stop gap measure when we he there. He was told not to seal the seams.We were called back out on October 2023 and shown the same issue on the ceiling below where the terrace roof meets the wall & sliding door of the top floor. No work had been done to the siding to repair the problem. The technician was told "you could not find anyone to look at the siding". We sent a proposal to replace the siding.You had two separate issues. Neither issue was or is a part of the roof that was installed in 2015.I am happy to meet on site and review everything so we can get on the same page. Roof Solutions stands behind all of our work.
