The Hays family has an interesting collection of western art and books in disarray. Unfortunately the rude and pushy shop keeper Greg wont leave you alone to browse, harassing you until you buy something or leave. Its the same story every time I go there, but I wont go there again.

This is a wonderful place to visit. The owner G. Hays is carrying on his father's A.B.Hay's legacy by selling, and sharing the best of Western history. You can not get much better than that. They have an amazing exhibit at Scottsdale's Museum of the West you do not want to miss.

We stopped by tonight, and the owner could not have been more welcoming. He helped us pick out some interesting books and shared some of the history of his store and the area. Would highly recommend visiting this historic establishment during your next shopping trip to Scottsdale!

Gregory Hays is the most selfless, personable and energetic gallery owner on the entire strip in Old Town Scottsdale. Every time I go in I purchase books (which he has a beautiful selection of). I recommend the Hays Grand Canyon Collection. It's such a great piece, I even purchased one for a family member and she now has it on display in her living room. There are countless rare art pieces in there ranging from oil paintings to posters and various western memorabilia. Please do me a favor and go check out Arizona West Galleries especially during these uncertain times. You're bound to also make a new great friend who genuinely cares about his customers and isn't just trying to make a sale. GO in and tell all your friends & family!!
