image Ive used SHE for dumpsters and other services. The day after Christmas my daughters oil ran out and her service provider couldnt make it. I gave them a call, and within several hours they arrived and gave her enough to get by, even though she wasnt a customer. Thanks gang - you really stepped up, said YES and solved her problem - good old school customer service.

image Shawn Harris sued a man who was dying of Alzheimer's for work that was never approved. That man died in June, 2021, and Harris still will not answer the estate's attorney's questions about where the Contract to do the work is, and what Licenses he or his agents hold to do the work that was done. Harris has admitted to never pulling a Permit for the demolition and reinstallation of a furnace, and insists that repairing a central A/C unit required replacing a furnace as well.
In addition to the questions he will not answer, he has refused the estate's settlement offer and will not make a counter-offer. Does he think that if he just waits it out that the estate's attorney will just pay what he demands, to make it end? Or is he embarrassed to have sent his workers out to do a job they should not have done, and for which he had no permits?
He claims he had my mother's verbal approval to do this major, expensive work, over the phone. The date he claims to have talked with her, my mother was in the cardiac intensive care unit immediately following the heart surgery that gave her 6 more months to live. I strongly doubt she was taking phone calls.
I understand that he's a fixture, a former Selectperson, and otherwise is respected by his many customers and neighbors in and around Scituate. But by not responding to the lawsuit *HE FILED* he's doing my parents' memories wrong, and for what?
Regardless, I know he does not have a contract for the job because it arrived in the mail _after_ his agents had demolished my parents' furnace. Had it arrived the day prior, I would have said no work could take place. Had the agents asked to see the signed contract before beginning the job, no work would have taken place. Someone sent a crew to do the job without a contract in hand -- sue that person.
Beware. He does not take responsibility when he or his company make mistakes. At least not big ones.

image used him for dumpsters he was much more expensive than the other people  in the area and promised to be there on a specific day with the dumpster, never showed up until the next day.  called on another occasion to ask him to move some equipment.  his staff said he could move it when i called that morning, waited all day and called back in the afternoon to be told he cant do it, he is too busy.  asked to please have shawn call us asap so we could ask him who else can move this type of equipment waited 3 days, no call back.  certainly does not hesitate to inconvenience and overcharge people and provides very, very poor customer service.  have no idea what these 5 star reviews are all about he was not at all dependable or respectful of us.  would definitely not recommend.
