This company is shady and the office looks and is very unprofessional.  Being new to the area, I was referred to Walkers Auto Insurance Company.  My first payment was not credited to my insurance and I was never notified that I had been driving sometime without insurance.  Only when I checked my bank records did I realize that the monthly payments were not being withdrawn.  I called them and went in to correct the situation, which is still not clear how it happened - (me, my bank or them)?  There was no apology, no explanation, nothing and when asked the clerk shrugged her shoulders and said "lets start over with a new plan, since it is too late to correct this one"I paid another fee and monthly payment and thought I had insurance, the next payment I called to pay it over the phone since it was only a week since I had purchased the insurance.  I was told "its okay we took it from your bank account already".  Can you imagine my surprise when I get a notice in the mail with "CANCELLATION" of my insurance for nonpayment.  I was shocked and disappointed that this would happen again!  I called that day, had to leave a message saying call me regarding this, and I need to know how this happened.  I got no call, I called again over the next 2 weeks as that is how long I had to make a payment and correct the issue, the Walker Auto Insurance never called me back.  My bank statement shows the payment going out to the insurance company.DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!  IMAGINE THE JEOPARDY THEY CAN CAUSE YOU!  NOT EVEN A "HEADS UP"!Well, I am covered now with a better monthly cost, a better plan and from a better (more reliable, professional company).Savannah, you better hope that any more of your new residents are not met with issues like this one!This complaint was also sent to the State of Georgia Insurance Department.
