This massive decommissioned army munitions factory and range is historic and super interesting. It is slowly being dismantled and parceled off into new businesses and a variety of future projects. Its disappearing fast. Lots of wildlife and a park one one side with ice age dunes along the shore of the river. It has many abandoned buildings and barracks but they are rapidly being taken down. Great urban decay exploration.

A very cool place to look at American history. This is a business park now. So Jane to be careful not to trespass in areas

There isn't a lot of hiking trails here but we love the diverse wildlife we see here. Often we have seen turkeys, whitetail deer, & many different species of birds. They do offer two handicap accessible lookouts as well. We did feel a bit unwelcome as everywhere we looked there were signs stating Keep Out or No Trespassing.
