image Very bad experience, the manager did not want to give me my money for a generator that I bought only because we are Spanish, I do not recommend them.

image took my bike in for something that should have been under warranty. it wasn't. worse yet, they didn't fix it, the problem came back on the ride home. Then I needed new tires. during that service they told me it was cheaper if I got the tires there. I found a good deal on tires and called to see the price diff if I brought my own tires. The guy said it used to be different, but wasn't now. So today, I called to see if I needed an appointment. They told me the price was higher if I got my tires from them. A consistent story would be nice. Fixing the bike the first time would be as well... I moved here from TN where I had an awesome service shop. Maybe my expectations are too high because of that, but I'll find another shop. It wont let me respond, so heres an update. The fob is a symptom. Its on almost every ride in the warmer days. A garage remote wont work near the bike if its on. A car parked next to me and wouldnt arm until I turned the bike off. I mentioned all of that for context. The problem is the bike sometimes acts as if there is no battery, just completely dead. The only way to get it to come back to life is to disconnect the battery and reconnect. I mentioned all of this. When yall were done I was told it was because of the low voltage code. I mentioned it was prob because I had to disconnect the battery a few times to get it to work. I was told that was the issue and resetting the code should fix it. I understand needing more time or trips to troubleshoot. I not only have the factory warranty which it should be covered under, but the extended warranty that covers more than Honda does. I asked why it wasnt covered and was told it was because I caused it by disconnecting the battery. I was out stranded and someone on Facebook told me to try it and it did. Me disconnecting the battery didnt cause the issue. I was ok with not fixing it. I dont understand why it wasnt under warranty. I was going to write Honda. I get all that on the tires. When I called, he didnt act new, he told me yall used to charge a different price, but dont now. I told him I was in last summer and was told the price was different. I wanted to see the price difference to see if it would be better to buy the tire there or elsewhere with the price difference. If he were new, thats not a good explanation he had. Its frustrating to be given different prices like that. Had I been given correct information I probably would have got the tires there.

Dan, my name is Steve Bixler the GM. I wrote the RO for your Goldwing on 9-9-2023. You stated you had a key fob issue and starting issue. The technician notes state: Connected to Honda MCS Computer. Check for ECM Faults, has Extreme Low Voltage fault and ABS Fault (ABS fault is common most Modern motorcycles when voltage is low). Reset all faults. Checked battery cables, GOOD. Tested battery, GOOD. ECM only holds 3 Key Fobs. ECM permanently stores key fob code. Key Fob codes cannot be erased. At the time we did not find an issue. Your bike had a low voltage for the battery. Which means the battery was low a one point and when we tested it was good. The tech did test your charging system which he forgot to note on the RO but it was charging correctly. If the problem came back, you did not talk to me the one who wrote the RO. You did not have us pick up your bike. You did not have us make another RO to resolve your concern. Hard to fix a problem that is intermittent and only give us 1 chance to correct the concern. It is noteworthy that just a few days ago Honda announced a Recall on certain Honda Goldwings for a Fuel Pump which was not know back in September 2023.We hired a new employee to our family, who has decades of experience in the powersports industry. He was trying to help you with the tires. He talked to me about your situation, and he did not explain our promotion and deals the right way. We sell our tires at a wholesale price. Now as a small family business in a small town that means we sometimes we’re lower than the online guys and other times we're a little over the online guy’s price on tires. The next thing we offer to our customers is discounting the labor to install the tires. Currently today 2-21-2024 Service Manager Pro and Honda state rear tire replacement for a 2022 GL1800 is 1.5 hours at $126 an hour that would have been $189.00. If someone brings their own rear tire (online tire) our service menu price on a Honda Goldwing is $125.95 (saving you $63). If you buy the tire from us, we discount the Service Meno price more on a Honda Goldwing to $64.95 (saving you $123). Which includes wheel weights and electronic balancing. I’m sorry we did not meet your expectations on the starting issue or the confusion over the tires. I hope we can resolve your concerns and earn your business. Thank you, Steve Bixler, GM and Hap’s Grandson.
