My husband and I just got back from our 12 night stay there. It was just like a second home. Beautiful property Awesome breakfast every day. Beautiful rooms, great staff. We were there for the film festival. Great location. Walked everywhere! We would not stay anywhere else!!

This place has turned out to the highlight of our visit to California so far. What a find! The house originally built in 1874 is full of charm and character. Everything here is all about quality and special touches.
The welcome is so warm, the house is beautiful, the staff so helpful, the breakfast delicious, as are the afternoon pastries and tea taken on the veranda looking over the amazing garden whilst ready a book, and then the evening hors d'oeuvres with plenty of wine top it all off. The staff turn your bed down and leave chocolates. And all included in what you pay. It makes this place very good value!
The staff cant do enough for you. I dont remember staying in a place I have enjoyed so much. We will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you so much for having us!!
Rooms: Full of charm
Walkability: Very close to State Street with lots of bars and restaurants. Great location.
Food & drinks: Delicious!

Stayed here for a birthday weekend and it was so wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. The food was delicious and the staff was all so kind and friendly. We will definitely go back. It was a refreshing and relaxing experience. Thank you so much.

We usually stay at the Ritz Carlton in Santa Barbara, but needed a quiet place due to a recent family death. The Simpson House gave us the quiet, calming, healing place we needed. The personal service is outstanding and the whole staff really cares about your experience here. High recommend and will stay there again.
