Neuro-Linguistic Programming emerged in the 1970's and had not changed much in the interim until Carl Buchheit added significant augmentations over the last 30 years to create *Transformative* NLP. His company, NLP Marin, offers a profusion of trainings from Core Competencies of Communications and Change through Masters Practitioners Certification and includes additional graduate offerings. (My comments come after more than 300 hours of training.) While many, many NLP courses exist, as well as hundreds of books, Carl's evolution of trainings combines new materials and extensive in-class exercises that guarantee you will have access and abilities far exceeding the academic content. Free weekly study groups are included as part of many of the courses. I was surprised that the interpersonal communication skills I learned far exceeded my expectations generated from the course description materials. It was common among the participants to conclude that they gained far more than they expected to learn much of it in areas they didn't know existed before the class. I did not meet anyone who wasn't delighted with the outcome of the class they were in. For these and additional reasons, I confidently highly recommend any of the NLP Marin courses.

The world's finest NLP school I know. The work they do is so deep, respectful, and of the highest quality ... and they have done so consistently for over 25 years! What I loved was their capacity to introduce more esoteric frames while staying firmly rooted in the rudiments of human reality, and the classical NLP toolkit. Anyone looking for deep personal change, or the skill to affect change for others, should check out this school!

This is an astonishingly good school that teaches a holistic and loving version of NLP in classes that are never boring, often hilarious and always incredibly transformative. NLP Marin is also remarkably humble and accommodating in the way it treats its students: the fees are quite reasonable compared to other similar schools, and there is no long-term commitment. You pay as you go on a weekend-by-weekend basis, and they offer payment plans as well. Students are treated with the utmost respect, everyone becomes friends in the course of the training, and some of them are now among my dearest friends. I would give it 10 stars if Yelp went that high. Bravo to Carl and the whole NLP Marin team! Love ya!

I enjoyed and benefited from the Foundations and Advanced classes and would give them fours. I regret the time and money I invested in Masters and would give it a one.
