So far I've been very satisfied with this day care for my 18 month old daughter. They allow her to attend part time which is a huge bonus for me, and she seems very happy there. They use the app brightwheel and track all her meals, naps, diapers, and post adorable pics of her through out the day

My 2 year old has been going here for a month now. The staff are great! As a first time mom being away from her kid for the first time, they definitely keep me assured that he is doing fine. They are responsive and send pictures of what he is doing throughout the day. He's a shy kid but I can already tell he's starting to open up and talk more.

I recently took a tour of this school. Not one teacher said hi to me or made me feel welcomed. The teacher of the 2 year olds was on her phone, didn't have a mask on, & wasn't paying attention to the 3 kids in her classroom. When she realized I was there she quickly got off her phone, put a mask on and two out of the 3 kids were on the other side of the room (couldn't see what they were doing) and she quickly got up to get them by yanking them both by the arm very aggressively. The teacher began to be extremely aggressive/rude to one little boy. He was being hard to deal with but if you want to be a teacher you need to have patience so there's no excuse for her behavior. She was talking to him with such an aggressive tone and looked like she was about to hit him if I wasn't there. I was extremely mortified I wish I had said something to her. Please don't send your child here. You could very clearly tell all the teachers were just not equipped to be teaching these poor kids/running this school. No matter how desperate you are please don't send your child here. I honestly wanted to call the police or cps or someone to help these kids because the entirety of my tour was unbelievable. EXTREMELY BAD VIBES.

This is a long overdue review. My son started at Building Kidz of San Mateo when he was six months old. He is now going on three years old and it's the best decision we have made. I intend on keeping him at this facility until he starts grade school. The staff are wonderful, they really love the kids and it shows. My son has flourished and has learned so much. He can count to 30, he has full conversations with any adult, he knows his ABCs, he is working on his writing skills, and his social skills have flourished at this facility. They have an app that you can download and throughout the day they update you on what your child is eating, his nap schedule, they take and send pictures of your child throughout the day. Having the app just makes my day. Being able to see my little guy having fun while I'm at work really makes my heart happy. I love the staff and can't say enough great things about all of them. Thank you Building Kidz of San Mateo you all are amazing

My 4 year old has been going here for a few months and so far we have had a great experience! The staff uses an app called Brightwheel in which they post photos and updates of my kid nearly every day. We are able to like photos and communicate with her teacher while were at work. It's definitely a comfort for us parents especially since it's her first pre-k school. This school actually has curriculums for babies up to transitional kindergarten. The staff is awesome. Ms. Jessica is wonderful! She is great at coordinating my child's care and making her feel as welcome as possible. Communication is great. They are diligent and attentive. I never have to waut around when in need of something bc the staff makes sure to be on top of things. 4 stars bc not able to speak on longetivity yet but otherwise, this school is great and we would recommend it!
