I buy your mushrooms from Walmart and Publix in Tifton, GA. We have been VERY disappointed in this product. If I have them more than one or two days before using them, they develop a green slime that I have never seen on mushrooms before. Even after carefully looking them over, and using them right away, they feel old and slimy. I have watched the produce attendant remove all of them from the shelf before, because they have had a green slime. On the rare ocassion that Ive been able to use them, they seem old, mushy or brittle. I have had to throw many or ALL away in a carton on at least five different occassions. Please stop using the preservative or chemical that is probably causing this problem. I have never had this problem with mushrooms before; but, unfortunately, your product has been the only fresh? brand offered in both stores. I guess I will start using canned as an alternative until you resolve this problem. I would give this product ZERO stars if I could.
