      image I was visiting the San Jose area and the check engine light in my Honda Civic hybrid came on during my trip there. I was worried about it because I was heading to a remote campground in the sierras afterward. Friends recommended Mick's in Santa Cruz where I was and, although the shop was super busy, they took the time to check the codes and found that the fuel was running "lean" but they didn't have time to do further work. Since I was headed to San Jose, other friends suggested Jensen's. They didn't have time to see the car, either, but the person who answered the phone (wish I'd gotten her name), was so knowledgeable and helpful and reassured me about continuing my trip. She checked with another mechanic and confirmed her opinion. I made my whole trip and got home with no problem, and I felt so much more confident thanks to kind, experienced folks at both places.
