I had the pleasure of working with Kate on a case last year. I have not had to work with attorneys in the past, and I will say that this was an absolutely excellent first experience. Kate not only handled my case with care and compassion, but impressed me with her ability to resolve all matters in a way I didn't think was possible. I have a special place in my heart for this team and they will forever be who I call first.

While I would never talk about the details of my case, I will talk about the how the team at Hersh and Hersh Law worked so hard to produce a favorable outcome for me.
They took my case without even thinking twice about it and with a strong sense of honor with professionalism and friendliness saw to it that the merits of my case were heard.

If you are looking for an attorney, chances are someone has wronged you and you are looking for someone to make it right. The last thing you need is someone else to wrong you. We had a very unfortunate relationship with an IVF doctor. We also didn't know if we had a case, although it felt like we did. Sometimes right and wrong and legal and illegal don't always match up. Nancy listened to our story, empathized with us and told us what she was going to do to make it right. Our case with Nancy started just before COVID began. Even in a pandemic, she was able to deliver on her plan for our matter! We have since obtained a new IVF doctor and are 9 weeks pregnant. Nancy is now a designated aunty to our future child because, seriously, it probably wouldn't have been possible without her. We cannot recommend her enough for relentless representation with your legal matters!

Back in the early 2000s, Charles Kelly of Hersh & Hersh botched the legal case involving my son, August David Chazan-Gabbard, born at USCF on March 5, 1999. August came into the world with significant and multiple impairments due to a mismanaged delivery conducted by Dr. Sarah Kilpatrick, who is now the chair of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was assisted by the resident physician Dr. Lisa Lipschitz, who currently is working at Scripps Health in San Diego. August passed away on Oct. 15, 2013, as a consequence of the way he was delivered. I detail UCSF's mismanaged birth and Hersh & Hersh's, and particularly Charles Kelly's, disastrous handling of the legal case in my book, A LIFE BEYOND REASON: A DISABLED BOY AND HIS FATHER'S ENLIGHTENMENT, published in 2020 by Beacon Press.
