First time using a travel agent. Victor was great. He helped us narrow down what type of vacation we were looking for and what we could see within our time restrictions. We had a great trip to Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Singapore. Thanks Victor!

Victor at New World Tours & Travel has now booked two elaborately complicated  trips in two years for me and my wife.  Both times, the trip last year  which included Malaysia & Hong Kong;  and the one this year, which was to Japan from San Francisco and then down to Australia for a circuit there and back to S.F., his planning and foresight were hugely successful.   Not to mention that he's a very nice person to deal with - as the other reviewers here have noted. I'll gladly use Victor as my travel next time as well.

I've been going to New World Tours for about 10 years. I frequently travel to Asia for business (I'm a lawyer) and pleasure (I love Southeast Asia). There are many reasons I've been going to New World and its owner, Victor: 1. Trust and rates: I can trust Victor to help me get the most reasonable rates on my international tickets. He's a genuine person whom I trust would tell me the truth as to what are my best travel options. 2. Connections: New World has personal connections with several Asian airlines. He often talks with them while I'm in his office to make sure that I get the best deals (along with seating) with those airlines. 3. Packages: He has international connections not only with flights, but also with hotel accommodations. He can help you with planning your whole trip, not just your flight. 4. Visa issues: He knows people who works at several embassies and gets the visa process done quicker than having to go to their offices and waiting in long lines at the embassies. 5. Victor himself: I consider him a friend of mine since I've been seeing him for about a decade. He's a very friendly and caring man, which leads me to my next point of priceline v. New World. Priceline v. New World: there are many websites like priceline that offer good rates too, but traveling internationally is different from domestically. There are more variables you have to worry about and you have to know people in the countries you travel to. With New World, you won't feel alone if something happens. For example, I had to reschedule my flights a couple times in Thailand and Cambodia, and Victor quickly helped me do so. Can you count on priceline to help you with that? Will they even allow you to change your flight? I highly recommend seeing New World for your international travel plans. Once you do, you'll likely be another 10 year customer like me.

I went to New World Tours & Travel for my trip to Europe. I was very pleased with my travel package. I vacationed in London and Paris for a week each. My original plan was to fly into London, take the Eurostar from London to Paris, and take the Eurostar back to London to fly back to San Francisco.  Victor suggested that I fly into London take the Eurostar to Paris and then fly from Paris back to San Francisco. By doing that I saved a lot of money. I will be utilizing Victor's services when I plan my next vacation in 2014.

In an age of transactional online travel agents and often faceless customer service, Victor at New World Tours is a breath of fresh air. I've been a client of Victor's for many years now, and the reasons that I keep going back are highly personal service and fantastic value.Things I love most:- Experienced & knowledgeable: Victor knows international travel markets inside-out. e.g. he just helped me find me a multi-destination itinerary in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Vietnam, Shanghai, Hong Kong), on reputable airlines, for only slightly more than I would have paid to fly just to Singapore.- Trustworthy & customer-oriented: besides seeming to always know how to get the best deal, they also put the customer first; in fact, Victor once even used his own money to secure a killer fare for me in advance.- Dependable: while traveling, when I had questions or problems about the itinerary, Victor was readily available to help and advise.Great customer experience.
