Although the actual paint job was fine, I'm giving a two star review because of my overall experience with the company. They say they want your pain project to be "zen" but mine was not. Communication at first was great until I signed the contract. There is a one hour window for the team to arrive. The first day they were 20 minutes late and I was not notified about the delay. I expressed my frustration and asked to be kept informed of their arrival time as much as possible. The next day the arrived at the very end of the arrival window (so on time but did not give me any updates as I had asked). The biggest reason I'm giving two stars is the clean up was unacceptable. There were paint chips all over different parts of the floor and on my sofa and other furniture. My black dresser now has white pain spatter all over it since they did not cover it when painting. I know they did cover other pieces of furniture so I'm not sure why this was overlooked. I've had lots of work done over time at my house and this was the worst clean up job I've seen. I complained to my project manager and his response was, we strive for a "zen" experience, sorry yours wasn't. Overall, not really impressed with this company and next time I need a paint job, I will be going elsewhere.

Paintzen is a robotic service that could potentially work if you have a very straight-forward job. We were hiring them to paint our kitchen (including cabinets) and bathroom. Their inflexible, formulaic approach made it difficult to communicate. Clients are instructed not to speak directly to the painters, but instead go to their project manager. That person then speaks to an offsite crew manager, who then relays information to the crew. To add to it, the painters staffed on our job were sloppy (smudges on floors, windows, and drawer interiors, dirty rag left on our counter, etc). We ultimately decided to terminate our project.
