Told us to come by and we didn’t need a reservation and within 15 mins they overcommitted. My suggestion...don’t overcommit.

We rented a boat at the Catamaran Resort location for 2 hours. The gentleman at the pier were very friendly, helpful, and informative. Of course I checked the propeller with the safety instructor and took pictures of it before leaving. That's the main thing boat rental places care about. With that being said the safety of everyone on the boat was my main concern, so I was not gonna and did not drive the boat in any way that would damage the boat or harm anyone in it.
We had a great time! The boat drove smoothly, it was clean, and had all the safety gear in place. (life vest, fire extinguisher, kill switch, etc.)
I would definitely go back and rent with them again. 👍👍

If you are guest of Catamaran Hotel, there are (2) locations you can rent bicycles and other sporting equipment with the option of paying by cash/credit card or billing to your room. There is small bicycle rental shop near the valet and entrance to hotel, the other location is at end of the path leading to it from Oceana restaurant; you can't miss it - there are boats and bicycles that line the beach near the small building on the pier.
We chose the location near valet parking. It is very convenient, the staff is friendly, and we were able to get better rate for longer rental because we were staying at hotel.
We enjoyed our rides down both sides of the beaches and surrounding areas, but there were times that we did not feel safe or in control. We also discovered after traveling along the beach, we could have rented newer equipment for less money per day.
The chain on my husbands bike was loose at times. Both bicycles had tendency to veer to right, but when you brought handlebar to center, it then veered to left. Brakes worked, but needed to use more breaking distance than normal. The handlebar of my bicycle had a lot of rust on it (see few photos with this review).
I think that the locations catering to this luxury hotel should repair or upgrade the bicycles. Luckily both my husband and I made multiple stops a long the way for photos,refreshments or to Google directions to locations off the beach; as well as avoid those stuck in their cell phones or traveling groups of 3-5.
I think that when we return to Catamaran Hotel, we will rent our bicycles from another company. Rental and return was quick and easy, but even with the discounted price, we should have received better bicycles.

We had such a great time renting the pontoon at Action Sport Rentals! I rented the boat for four hours from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Catamaran location for my boyfriend's 29th birthday and split the cost between the 8 of us on the boat. The staff was very friendly and professional - they went through the rules quickly and efficiently and sent us on our way. We decided to go over to De Anza Bay and it was beautiful there to just hang out and float for a bit. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because I wish the boat (and feel like it should have) had come with an anchor so that you don't have to keep moving it - but we still made do! Also, our specific boat had a giant dent in the front right pontoon which we didn't realize until we were going a bit faster making a wake, and it caused water to spring up onto the passengers on the right side of the boat - soaked everyone - we tried different speeds, weight distributions, etc. and it continued.)
