Disclaimer: I am composing this review strictly based on my encounter with one of the property's leasing specialists in the name of GARRETT REED. Our apartment home search began in February of '24 and lasted for two months. Every contact made/received was absolutely STELLAR- from email responsiveness to updating us on unit availability to periodic check-ins. I am taken aback by this gentleman's level of professionalism and commitment to going beyond the call to assist us. Garrett, thank you for an amazing first encounter and for the continuity of your friendly demeanor and impeccable work. You are an asset to the Redland team and should be cloned so that every prospective tenant can appreciate the same experience! Keep up the exceptional work!

I rented an apartment 7 years ago from this complex. I was never late one month. They put on my rental history that I was evicted; however, I wasn't evicted. They gave me a letter-form type of record saying I had a ZERO BALANCE when I moved out--to give to my new apartment. I was told by management that it would be fixed, but it's still there. Three times I've talked to someone in management, and they promised me that it would be fixed. It's still there--I'm trying to rent an apartment, but I have to prove to them that I have a zero balance. It's been 7 years, and I was told repeatedly that it would be fixed so I didn't worry about keeping the letter. In the past week, I've called the present and past owners--both companies have given me a run around. Every person tells me something different...so inconsiderate and insensitive. I bet you if I owed them money, they could find it in a second. The apartments themselves told me to call the company that represents their company for credit issues. What a joke--it was a company that cleans up your credit. Of course, they wanted to charge me almost $400 to take 1 error off my history. It wasn't this problem because they told me that I didn't have anything on my credit for this issue. They don't know anything about my rental history with them, but they do know that I don't owe them any money.
It's my fault for trusting and believing people in management. When they told me it would be taken care of, I assumed they would have enough compassion for a past resident who paid their rent and took care of the property like I was the owner.
How hard could it be to have some consideration for the next person? Put yourself in my place. Be careful what this organization tells you!

We're truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced with your rental history. However, we must reiterate, both The Redland Apartments and Adara Communities, do not have you on record as ever renting one of our homes. You see, we took over The Redland in February 2023. Therefore, we are unable to remove any previous balance(s), Rental History notes, or otherwise, from another management company's records. Regardless, it is important to us that our residents and prospects alike, both past and present, feel heard and respected and we truly understand your frustration in this situation. We do advise that you contact the owners listed on your previously signed lease contract, to get this settled. We wish you the best and are hopeful they are able to assist you in this matter.
