Jared is the man I highly recommend him seen a doctor for a couple years had so many problems with my fit so I seen Jared one time he told me I needed surgery to remove some bone spurs and reshape the bottom of my stump I had my surgery after I healed he fit me with a new socket it's been about six months now and I havent needed to go back this is the first time in 5 years I've gone over a month without have problems so thank you Jared a million times thank you!

Could I give no star at all? To bad that ain't an option. Receptionist Are rude, especially Mariah or Maria however you spell her name. They can't even answer simple question. They said I need to schedule an appointment in a week I asked if I should call them or wait for them to call me, they said they would well it's been a month no call yet!!. Un professional staff that's why I ain't ever going back nor recommend this place!.

With so many other options for Orthotic and Prosthetic services in Utah, I find it amazing that this place is still in business. Their front office staff is unfriendly and seems to be unable to answer the most basic questions. Their billing deptartment is horrifically unknowledgable and rude on top of that even though my son has three different insurances', they told me that I would likely have to pay for my son's brace out of pocket, then bill my insurances seperatly. As it turns out, my main carrier has had many of the same complaints about the same issue. If you are in need of the services that Shields offers, chances are that you have a fair amount of stress and just want to have what your child needs, this place only compounds that stress. I've given Shilds two opportunities and we will never be back, nor would I EVER recommend them to anyone.
