Took advantage of my daughter who brought her car in. Charged alot for simple work and didn't put her car back together correctly . When we called they pretended they didn't know anything about it. Shameful.

Over charged for a service and didn't do it correctly, Didn't find out till I went to another mechanic. Save your money and don't go here

I paid 300 to have him run a diagnostic and figure out why my car wouldn't go past 3 rpms and re connect my boost gauge. It ended up being a vavle that had come loose. He got my car going again and I was super happy for the first two days but then my check engine light came on and it was a Friday which they are closed on so I couldn't consult him about it. Just kinda frustrated because I just paid all this money to have my car looked over he didn't bring anything else up to me and I can't get ahold of him when I needed cuz he takes 3 day weekend. Hopefully he will be helpful on Monday :(
UPDATE: I changed my rating from 3 to 1 after getting my car looked at by another mechanic. Herms didn't put the bolts holding my car computer back together properly, one was missing the other was super loose. After that got fixed check engine light came off. What a dishonest terrible mechanic. Never again. Too bad too because he lost what could have been a loyal customer.

I love Herm!! This shop is a God send for a Volvo owner. I started working with Herm a year and a half ago he is a straight shooter and honest. He never "hard sells" me on unnecessary work that needs to be done. He is the voice of reason when I need to know what needs to be done in order to keep my vehicle running properly. His rates are much more reasonable than the dealer and so are his parts. He has consistently treated me and my car well.
