Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. This is the first review I have ever written, but I am so frustrated I had to write it, (by the way, there is not an option for zero stars or I would have picked that). It took SIX months to get TWO doors. I had to provide the information multiple times because information was lost. Communication was difficult to impossible and frustrating and I finally had to go completely through the front office person who would run down the update on timing or would need to ask for more info that had already been provided. At one point, the 2nd door was forgotten all together. I also needed, and asked for, two custom garage doors that I provided information on, but never received a quote. They were forgotten. These two large garage doors would have been good business for them because of the special customer desires, but I gave up on those and decided to focus my efforts on trying to get just the two doors. Why didnt I just go to a different shop after a few months of dealing with the frustration? Well, they already had a substantial down payment which they had for months and I didnt want try and go through the process of getting that back, (if I even could have?). The price for the custom Maple door wasnt bad and the quality was fine. The custom mortise was a little rough. However, the 2nd door was almost an off the shelf type door, no frame, but was really expensive. Another frustration was I didnt know how expensive until literally picking up the doors because I couldnt get a quote from them for the 2nd door. I assumed it couldnt be too expensive since it was a simple door. I was wrong, but really had no recourse If I wanted to finally get this project done for my very patient customer. Having to go through what I had to just to get two doors was very poor business. I wont used c&m doors again.
