I found a vacuum trailer they posted online. I live in Utah, so I inquired about it. I did my research, and it fit my needs, so I decided to make the 920 mile trip to inspect and buy it. The listing stated they had no title. Bill-of-sale only. The rep told me it was a bank repossession. It seemed a little off, because banks always get titles. So, i didn't want to pre-pay without checking everything out. They told me they ONLY TAKE WIRE TRANSFERS as payment, which is very strange for a legitimate business. I told them I was on a tight schedule, and could bring hard cash, or a Certified Cashier's check from my bank, but did not want to pay without inspecting first. They repeatedly told me WIRE ONLY. Well, I got there, inspected the machine, ran the vin and everything was good, so I decided to buy it. The problem came when the wire didn't go in by 2:00 PM, and the bank said it wouldn't show up in their account until the next day. I showed them the wire confirmation from the bank, and told them I could go get cash, but I could not be delayed. "WIRE only, wire only, wire only" is all they could say. I nearly walked away from the deal over it because it was so bizarre. I ended up staying overnight, and the wire hit their account next day. The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is because Cody was super good. The rest of the operation just feels a bit shady. If you list stuff online, you can't expect people to wait a day to get their items. If I ran my business this way I'd have no customers.
