They fixed my car, and showed me a photo of the issue. Their prices are Very fair. I felt like a local to the island when I left. They were great! Issac was incredibly great!! Dead alternator on ATL to Sea Island trip. They were fully booked. Issac got a tech to diagnose late Friday and order part. Part arrived Monday. Perfectly completed on Monday! Great German Shop!!!!

Took my 2010 Mercedes Benz S 600 V 12 in for a front of car oil leak and engine light was on. I wanted an through estimate on any problems they found and any other recommendations that they felt the car needed because I advised them that my family and I were going on a long road trip. I left the car on a Sunday night with clear instructions to give me an estimate .I happened to be on St. Simons the following Thursday and since I had not received an estimate, I stopped in to their repair facility to find out it they had an chance to analyze everything the car needed.
The young man at the desk said that they found out the reason for the oil leak was that it needed a two valve cover gaskets but had not completed a final inspection or have a total estimate yet but they did go ahead and change the oil. I asked why would you perform any work without my permission?
In addition, I asked, are you telling me that you put $250.00 of new oil in my car without repairing the leak? He replied yes! I could not believe what I was hearing.
I have been driving Mercedes for over 40 years and I have not ever heard of such incompetence.
At this point, I asked that he present me a bill for the oil and labor and I would take my car to a reputable Mercedes repair facility. He said that he could not release my car even if I paid for the oil change without the owners permission.
I was livid !!! I asked that he call the owner because I was going to pay him for work performed and take my car. This debate went on for 20 minutes and finally he agreed to release my car and when I got to my car, it would not start. Pretty sure it was running when I left it. They had a get a mechanic to jump start it.
I paid the $250.00 in cash for work performed and asked for a receipt. He gave me a receipt but also mistakenly gave me the business print out copy showing their cost and retail of each part and and theirs labor cost.of a very detailed estimate that was two pages long with a total of $1,500.60.
Now understand, he claimed that they did not have an estimate yet but handed me a complete estimate.
So sad, if he had been truthful and given me me the $1,500.60 estimate, I would have of approved it and left the car.
What the hell is going on here. I will forward the house copy of the completed estimate to the owner of what I consider a dishonest business.
