I hate writing negative reviews but this company needs to do better. Unfortunately, I cant give them 0 stars. The installers broke my wall trim and then nailed the broken trim back on my walls. They removed my toilets to install the flooring in my bathrooms, but returned the toilets with no bolts and NO SEAL!!! I had to pay my plumber over $3,000 dollars to repair the damage they caused. I had to have someone out to reseal the dryer venting because it had been damaged during the install. I received absolutely no communication that this damage occurred. Im extremely lucky that a fire didnt happen due to their sloppiness, dishonesty , and neglect. I cant
believe I spent $7,000 on flooring and installation with this company, only to have to spend another $3,000 fixing the damage they caused. I did try to contact them to fix these issues and they offered $150 dollars for the trouble. I truly cant believe a business can stay in business and operate this way. No one wants to write negative reviews but I am telling you, please, please, choose someone else to install your floors. Save yourself the nightmare I have been having.

Hamernick's is the first company i have encountered that provides the same level of knowledge, service and assurance of customer satisfaction as the old Dayton's Flooring once did.

John Longman was very knowledgeable of flooring to narrow down the exact floor that we would be happy with, great customer service as I retired from customer service after 46 years.
The installers were the key and face of Hamernicks, they were efficient and professional. I would highly regard them to be the crew for my choice to any of my family and friends.
Please give them a huge thank you for being an employee of hamernicks!

Pros: We were happy with Hamernicks pricing and product selection for a residential job replacing floors with carpet and LVP all throughout our new home.
Cons: It took more than 8 weeks to finish a job that could have been completed in 3 days. Install complications were exacerbated by the company never sending out a rep to assess in person despite several calls back. Instead, 4 different install crews were sent, each with little understanding of the project parameters and needing to be brought up to speed.
The extended timeline and confusion made for a stressful experience. Ultimately we were exhausted enough by the whole ordeal we didnt even ask them to come back out again to correct issues with the carpeted stair installation.
March 2024 update: We are grateful that Hamernick's contacted us to replace the stair carpeting. Thank you for making it right!
