Big Bend Landscaping and their team did such a fantastic job bringing our backyard goals into reality. The team did a really great job providing opinions and inputs for what would look best/what wouldn't work with our grade. It's our first home so we appreciated all the help and professional opinion we could get. The project was completed in such a quick fashion as well. Joe was our sales manager; he was responsive and thorough with all our questions. Katie helped with our product selection and was super patient when we asked to view product tiers outside our budget in case we wanted to increase our budget. JL was our project manager and he did an excellent job with the installation; our neighbors and family members can't stop complementing how beautiful our backyard looks!

I wanted to have a nice looking short retaining wall to separate our property from neighbor behind us. John Brown arrived and assessed our project. He told me the project was not really worthwhile for the money, explaining future problems we might encounter in “my vision” of a retaining wall with nothing to retain. (Yes, I admit it was impractical after John pointed out the flaws.) We also talked about extending our patio. (I had no “vision” of what it would like.) The more John described what he could do to extend the patio, the more my husband and I got excited with the prospect of something elegant. We quickly ditched the wall project. We were all in on the patio! Our new extension surpassed anything I could have envisioned.
The before picture shows the condition of the landscaped area, which was filled with rocks and lined by cobblestones that I had transported from house to house when we moved. My husband asked that the rocks be moved next to the garage to create a rock garden lined by the cobblestones. Wow! Beautiful job. Way better than the weeds and the balding patchy grass we had.
I have nothing but good things to say about the crew that worked on our patio. They finished in a day and a half. They arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. both mornings. They executed the work down to the fine details.

Joe (one of the owners)came out to provide us some options and quotes. He was VERY professional, listened to all of our needs/wants, was NOT pushy and gave us some great ideas! Arrived 5 minutes prior to scheduled appointment. True professional.
Will edit if we decide to go with BBL as we are waiting on CAD drawings (no one else offered this) and quote.

Big Bend Landscaping does fantastic work! I had called to hardscape a large patio with a retaining wall in my backyard. JL and his crew were professional, personable, and AMAZING! Love my new patio, it completely blew my expectations out of the water.

Got an estimate done but never heard back from them. Tried calling and leaving voicemails but still no response. I also tried contacting them through their website. No one ever picks up their phone and no one replies to the messages.
