Lover Dr E - he service both my husband and I and is quick, efficient and very thorough. Yes I do have to wait sometimes because he has no intake coordinator but I don't mind.

I was looking for a new optometrist after mine retired. Dr. E performed tests which were not covered by my vision insurance without first telling me there would be an additional cost. The bill for the appointment was surprisingly high.
Dr. E gave me a prescription that was so weak that it made it very difficult for me to see road signs. While Dr. E gave me a stronger prescription after my "trial-run," the prescription is still not as crisp as the lenses in my old glasses.
I also purchased contacts through Dr. E because he said that he had a substantial rebate. Dr. E did not submit the paperwork in time, so I lost out on the rebate. I followed up with Dr. E several times about this, but this issue has not been resolved.

Dr. Engstrom is a fine eye doctor. I think the problem is he does not have a secretary, which puts him behind on appointments. When I came in for my first appointment I waited over a half hour past my scheduled time to be seen. Then, when I returned another day to pay my bill, he was with a patient. I ended up waiting 30 minutes again and had to leave because I had another appointment.

Have been going there for years. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Went someplace else and was sorry! Have now come back!

I have been seeing Dr. Engstrom at Rolling Meadows Eye Care for almost 20 years. The care and service is always excellent. If you are new to the area or looking to change optometrists, I recommend him highly.
