The trainers here have a couple slots available for training so if you want to get up in the saddle, fix undesirable behavior, or performance tune that equine of yours, contact us so we can get your spot reserved. Cassidy "Hop Along" Laney has countless experience with starting colts. Her methods are based on compassion and progressive direction that gives horses a great grasp of what's expected of them on the ground and transfers to in the saddle. She genuinely has a way with the wild ones as well, helping gentle and establish trust between the horse and handler. Her TIP training with BLM mustangs and the Mustang Makeover can tell you all about it. She also specializes in gated horse / mule breeds and has a special talent in training saddle mules. She learned extensively from the Missouri Mule Company whom perfects gorgeous and talented saddle mules then provides them to lucky buyers across the nation. Thoroughbreds are another breed specialty that Cassidy highly enjoys working with. While attending LVT veterinary school in WA, she worked as a exercise rider for Emerald Downs racetrack; she also understands their unique health needs. Brian Ruzicka is our second trainer and farrier. He has a talent for utility and trail quarter horses. This extends from teaching horses to let you rope a steer off their back and the drive needed from the horse for that, all the way to collection and tuning for an impressive neck rein and reigning maneuvers. He very much has a way with our most common of horse breed and teaches them to present themselves in a way that the owner can be intensely proud of. Brian also shoes and provides hoof care to our horses while Cassidy attends to their individual health needs. Over the winter months especially, we strive to make sure the horses needs are met and that they're happy and not stressed during their stay for training with us. 3 separate pastures over 15 total acres keeps herds happy and bullying at bay while turned out. The horses have constant access to salt and mineral blocks, and during the winter months we round bale with alfalfa and Timothy grasses, they also receive complimentary strategy feed, a magnesium supplement to help with stress and muscle soreness, and we keep them dewormed with a general dewormer. Aside from the care they receive, the training is second to none and really produces your desired result, no matter what your unique temperament !
