I do not normally write reviews. However in this case I had to. The staff here are friendly attentive and all around amazing. So many people were here for the Eclipse it had to be overwhelming. They really stepped up to the plate. They even indulged us and let us watch the NCAA womans championship game in the lobby. Really stellar job! Great

One of the beds was very soft & did not offer sufficient support to the back. Shower pressure was very good. Service was very good.

Easy to find, the staff was all friendly, checking in was easy and smooth. My room was next to the elevator and surprisingly the elevator was really quiet and didnt bother me at all! Only complaint I have is the coffee maker was missing the piece you put the coffee in. And the bathtub drain plug didnt work. Really liked the mural in the room too. Room service was also great!

Marriott has cut a lot of the non-essentials in their offering. Real drinking glasses, room safes, extra pillows that are feather-free, and nice side tables are things of the past. Service is friendly and professional, but they didn't service our room the 2nd day we were there, and it really needed it. Location is great for most purposes. Restaurant is nice. Lobby is quite nice. The pool (small but well maintained) and whirlpool are both major positives (FWIW, in Europe, pools have become rare). If I come back to Rochester, I'll stay here again. While by no means outstanding, it's at the upper end of what's available in Rochester.
Rooms: Rooms are average size (which is to say decent) for non-urban hotels. Everything worked and was in good nick. In-room coffee service was basic but functional. Bathroom was fine.
Walkability: Rochester is not walkable. You need a car.
