This school sucked. They were unorganized and crude. They were late on telling us pertinent information regarding clinical schedules, clinical sites, etc. The schools dilatory actions took tolls on students work schedules and babysitting schedules. Their crude behavior made them unapproachable to any of our concerns and questions. They were unavailable half the time when trying to reach them via phone. The reason Im not leaving a 1 star review (because thats what it earned) was because of Mr. Patrick Liquete and Mrs. Eva Reeder. They were the most outstanding instructors. Mr. Liquete took the time with each and everyone of his students to ensure our competency in every topic he taught. He would have 1 on 1 sessions with us to ask or discuss any areas needing improvement which in turn guaranteed our success. He made SURE that his students passed. He went above and beyond for us, took the time to create PowerPoints, diagrams, and cram sheets. I cannot thank that man enough for the knowledge I have today. Mrs. Reeder taught me everything I know about how to be a great, knowledgeable nurse out there in the real world. She is most definitely a no nonsense kinda of lady and I can appreciate that. She does not play around and shes tough on you but thats the way she teaches and thats what makes her great. She is the most knowledgeable and with the most experience on the floor and so she couldnt have been a more perfect instructor. She taught me how to be excellent nurse and how to figure out and correct any discrepancies that may occur on the floor that are within the scope of practice of an LVN. I have no doubt Im gonna be a great nurse thanks to Mr. Liquete and Mrs. Reeder. Thank you, thank you, thank you from bottom of my heart to them, and them only.

Dont do it ! The only good thing about this school is Mr. Liquette! Hes AMAZING ! But the administration staff is unprofessional but they talk about professionalism all of the time. Theyll talk about students being late but will have students waiting outside bc there is no one there to open the door. Also they dont know how to talk; they try to talk to us adults as if we are children and thats just rude we spend all of this money on school but they dont have everything in the skills labs that we need The DON is just rude and doesnt know how to be a leader without being humble. Shannon can be a bit rude as well. You definitely be outspoken to come here!!

I attended NWC- riverside class and I had a great experience due to Mr. Liquete. His power points were very informative and his lectures were very engaging.

If you have a family or a full-time job, do not come here!!! It is hard to maintain an 80% because you have to put in hours and hours of HESI Case Studies. I was recently dropped with a 76. I would call off from work and stay up late doing case studies and for nothing.. I have been attending this school for 3 1/2 months and never missed a day, well except the day I was sent home because I was coughing or because I was wearing an N95 I was asked by my instructor why I was wearing an N95 mask. Mind you that half of my class were also coughing. I work as a CNA, and I was negative from covid, and I would not risk my patients or students. Anyways I still had to make up a day for them sending me home at 12 pm. It is true this school only cares about money. Please look elsewhere. After I was dropped, they told me to enroll at the Pomona site and that I had to start all over again and two fellow co-students were over there. Really, I don't think so. The next day, they texted me that they had limited seating for the LVN in a couple of days at the Riverside location, and that if I was interested, wow. My schedule was Tue, Wed, Thurs, 6pm-10pm online and clinicals on Sat and Sun from 7am-3pm on campus. I agree with (review Rose B). I was given a ton of books, a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and 3 sets of horrible scrubs, and attended a CPR class on a Friday our day off from class. Well I have to pay for all these things and the time I attended. I am still waiting for the billthey said to wait 45 days for it. The only good thing I can say is that we had an hour for lunch most of the time and we were out of class half an hour early, or is it good? This school does not care about your family or if you pass. They only care about making their money and failing you. BE CAREFUL and avoid a headache and save your money!!! I recommend another school, CA Health Care Skills Center in Riverside..

I have had many instructors over the years for various accomplishments in my life e.g. certificates, associate degree and baccalaureate in Business and now a nurse but thus far I have not had an instructor like Mr. Liquete.
My first and last semester at North-West College, Mr. Liquete was my instructor and he made those semesters effortless. Please do not misunderstand me, I had to work very hard studying the things I needed know and understand but I was not stressed out to the point where I had to go looking up and researching things I did not know or understandhe give you the information, all I had to do was study and apply what I was taught. The strategies he use to teach his students is amazing! He teaches you the information and skills you will need and use in your career without teaching the unnecessary stuff. As wife and mother of four children who work part time, I appreciate Mr. Liquetes teaching style because I was able to balance my work schedule, family and school.
Mr. Liquete I appreciate your professionalism and attentiveness to the success of every student. You treated everyone the same with respect. Also, appreciated your candidness and openness to listen to our concerns and addressed them appropriately.
Mr. Liquete you are great at what you do, I wish I can had or make suggestions but I cannot think of anything. Some people have a special ability to teach others but not everyone. You used your experience, knowledge and skills to teach and I recommend that you continue to do so.
I thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and advice with us.
