image In the past, I have had a good experience going to Protrans. Today, I went for and oil change as well as to get my side mirror fixed since the back part came off. Michael Radak, the service advisor, said I needed the filter changed and tire rotation that would've totaled to almost $300. I refused the tire rotation but accepted the cabin filter change thinking it would be less that $100. However, when I got the invoice the total came out to $255. It was $103.85 for the oil change and $151.70 for the cabin filter labor and part. What was astounding was the $94.50 for the labor of changing my cabin filter, a service that is done tool free and in a short time. Due to time constraints, I paid without questioning. However, upon returning for clarification for the high labor cost for the cabin filter, Michael attributed the extra charge to the mirror repair, which he initially claimed would be free. Regrettably, this charge was not itemized on the invoice. This lack of transparency and dishonesty with the unexpected charges are concerning and leave me feeling deceived.
I intend to communicate my dissatisfaction with Triple AAA a company I trust, as they recommend Protrans to their clients. Honest and transparent practices are fundamental to any business relationship, particularly in automotive services. I hope that sharing my experience will prompt Protrans to reassess their practices and prioritize clear communication and honesty with their customers in the future.

image So last year I was recommended to go to Pro Trans. I have a 2015 Fiat 500. They did excellent work. This year I needed a little follow up with the same situation, and they took even better care of my car. I can't recommend them enough, not only do they take excellent care of your car, the staff is also wonderful!

image Very unproffesional service, I made an appointment and was there right on time at 8 am, my brakes needed fixing in the middle of moving so I had my car packed. After looking in my car the employee said I had to remove everything from the passenger seat including a 50 inch super heavy plasma I had sitting on it. After I told them that I could move everything out beside the plasma because its too heave for me and would need help, they offered me nothing and handed me my keys saying figure it out. After this I went to Firestone and they were surprised that was even an issue because it wasnt a weight problem or a space problem and fixed my car. Very snobby people ProTrans.

When you brought your vehicle to us, our technicians weren’t able to access the driver’s side of the vehicle due to the furniture and objects that were placed there, and wanting to respect your things, we requested that you remove some of the items blocking our access before we serviced your vehicle. We are very sorry if this came off as unprofessional or snobby, we truly wanted to respect your vehicle and belongings, and if an object is obstructing our access to a vehicle we request the owner move it rather than our employees to ensure your things are safe. We were more than happy to work on your vehicle and we are confused to see this feedback as you did not express any dissatisfaction with us when we asked you to remove some of your things for us to service you while you were at our shop.
