My journey with Tri-cities Foot and ankle and the MAGICAL AMAZING, Dr.Thielges( Dr. T) started in mid-2021. He's one of the most talented podiatrists I've EVER had/have! Being an ex gymnast/ figure skater needing repairs is how I met this GEM of an office! The staff is always warm and inviting. They tend to remember you and have a professional, productive yet personal relationship with every patient that walks through the door, as I have observed. They attend to all your questions with insurance, appointments, and billing and usually have a candy dish with the good stuff in it!THE office is absolutely chic, a modern inviting atmosphere. I've never NOT been seen at my scheduled appointment time. They have even fit me in when I needed an injection for pain relief within the same DAY I called! That's rare these days. Easy access to building, parking, and their location.
The hockey player himself, DR.T, has this fantastic ability to simplify complex medical information, which is really impressive and makes patients (me) feel informed and at ease. He's done the following:( OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER ). He has a great sense of humor as well. This always helps!
Performed detailed examination of my feet and ankles, stated my options, until surgery is/ was the last opinion. From orthotics, steroid injections, and physical therapy exercises. Dr. T has just performed my 3rd surgery. On my 2nd surgery post-op, I really needed his assistance on a Saturday he called me in 30 minutes and rectified my situation immediately with peep in his voice! He truly cares about his patients' comfort. I would give 10 for a review.
It is also important to add that he's not one of these Dr.s who expects or judges your personal healing time. Like everyone is the same. He really respects you as an individual ( obviously with, in reason, not abusing medication) but keeps you as pain-free as possible even if that means an extra week of meds needed.
This is a long but detailed review. But I had a lot to say and didn't want to miss anything.

Dr. Thielges and his staff were absolutely amazing! I brought my 9 year old daughter for a in-grown toe nail removal procedure and from the girls on the front desk to the assistant and the Dr were all super kind and helpful. He was straight up honest to both of us and he made the procedure go super smooth. My child did not cry or made a scene. The procedure was quick and simple and very caring for my daughter. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone I know! Thanks guys for the great experience!
