The entire experience could not have been better. From the initial conversation through project completion I received the utmost in customer service. All phone calls were returned promptly and matters were attended to seamlessly and in a timely manner. Any issues that did arise, albeit there were very few and very minor, were handled swiftly and professionally. They never made me feel as though I was being "nit picky", but rather welcomed the feedback and made sure all the work was done with a high level of precision. Every single person that ever came to perform work was extremely polite and respectful. Some days we barely knew anyone was in our yard working, but low and behold major components of the work had been completed that day. Everything was always cleaned up and tucked away at the end of the day. Alterra did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I always knew exactly what to expect because it was communicated to me first and then executed exactly as explained. The project itself turned out beautifully. We never could have imagined that our tiny, grassless, dysfunctional backyard could be completely transformed into a dream living space! Phenomenal experience with Hayden and his team! We couldn’t be happier with the results and are blown away at how fast the transformation of our front yard was. Everyone working on our project was so kind, thorough and paid attention to all the small details. We are so pleased with the entire experience from start to finish and are SO glad we hired with Alterra. 12/10 recommend.

Alterra blew all other landscape designers out of the water. Communication, flexibility, design options, responsiveness: no one was close.
We had existing patio removed and Jeff designed a replacement and extended sitting area using pavers that are outstanding.
We had a few design challenges and Jeff and Hugo (crew chief) were able to resolve them and look great.
Hugo and his crew perform quality work with dedication to perfection.

We LOVE the backyard living space that Jeff and Alterra Landscape Designs created for us! We highly recommend them. Jeff listened to what we wanted to accomplish then created an amazing and flexible plan specifically for us. His advice and direction were key as we are new to Texas and had no idea what materials work best here. We plan on adding even more to the plan next year. Services: Design, Custom masonry
