TERRIBLE!!!!
The worst experience in my 71 plus years. After this awful experience we found that the San Jose BBB dropped them. They told us they gave US_Van Lines an 'F' after 14 complaints in a 12 month period.
We looked and looked online for a mover that had good ratings to move our son, a Gulf War Disabled Vet, from Monroe, WA to Tucson, AZ where he was in treatment at the VA Hospital. What we didn't know was this sneaky outfit used the name of the US Van Lines in ST Loius -- by spelling it US_Van Lines. When we made contact with the real US Van Lines they told us that they have been embarrassed by these people for years, and wanted us to know that they are not affiliated with them in any way.
From the start things just went south. Since we were out of state for the pickup on 6/16/14 we paid for Full Pack and our sons apartment manager tried to monitor the move from that end. She had an issue with the driver. He was supposed to check with her when he completed the packing and loading. He didn't. She was upset and called us because the mover did not take everything. We called US_Van Lines and they transferred us to their Dispatch person, Tony. What an unprofessional, rude individual. We couldn't believe his attitude and his mouth. We escalated to their Manager, Stephanie. Pretty much more of the same. We ended up asking our sons apartment manager to donate the items left.
And things did not go any better on the delivery end. My wife and I were working in WY at the time so our daughter was at the Tucson end. US_Van Lines would not deliver unless we paid the balance in cash! A light should have gone off. She paid them. Then we discovered there were 4 boxes missing. The driver told our daughter he would have the items located and delivered. That was 6/27/14. It is now 2/25/17 and we are still waiting. Our son had items that had meaning to him in those boxes.
We made numerous contacts with US_Van Lines -- Kim, Stephanie and Tony. More of the same unprofessional, bad behavior.
On 8/26/14 Stephanie called me at my work location. She said she would call back in 1 1/2 weeks. I reminded her of the items left in Monroe and the missing boxes at delivery. To date -- nothing.
We also filed complaints with BBB's and DOT's in WA, AZ and CA. They can't help!!
Be careful -- this US_Van Lines is the worst ever!

HORRIBLE!!!!!
We had a binding contract that stated it was a binding contract and would not exceed 10% over the total. We were told that the truck left and would arrive by a certain date. We kept calling trying to get ahold of them to answer our questions. We had to chase them down in order to find out where our belongings were. When the truck finally arrived - two of our dressers were damaged, 5 boxes were missing, 2 very expensive lamps were missing, and they charged us $1200.00 over the estimate price (which is over 10%). In the contract, they clearly stated they would disassemble and reassemble the crib, however, they refused to at delivery because they said they "weren't making money." In the contract they stated that if they delivered later than 4-7 days then they would be charged $25 every day that they are late. However, they refused to honor this. After they charged us $1200.00, they said it would be a flat fee that would not change. Then once they delivered, they wanted to charge us much more.
The shuttle service was also included in the contract but they ended up sneakily taking it out in the final copy of the contract. This was manipulative. They breached the contract and did not honor what they agreed to. The dispatch manager Tony was so rude and unprofessional. He yelled at us and threatened us that if we do not pay what he wants,they would take all of our stuff and leave. When we would call USVanlines, they made us call Tony and deal with him because he would yell at everyone. Im in shock at how this company is still running. I have not heard back form them after I told them about our lost items. We have suffered mental, emotional and financial stress over the past month. And it's getting worse knowing that they are getting away with this!
Dont even think about using them! Worst company EVER!
