Following knee replacement, PT and over a year of trying to work with pain and movement, a friend recommended Focus PT. Peter is fantastic and has been able to sort through and find solutions for issues that accumulated through overcompensating for a still struggling knee. I can't say enough about his patience, thorough analysis of a problem, talent for providing treatment, exercises, solutions...and his kindness. Thank you Peter! Included in my huge thanks is Focus PT's owner, Burke, and the life-changing suggestion he made during a bike fit appointment. Burke, too, is patient, a great listener and a biker, himself. As an aging but avid mountain biker, I was still in pain at every rotation 20 months out of surgery. Burke suggested shorter cranks to lessen the angle on rotation. Relief was immediate, and after a month of significantly shorter cranks (from 170mm to 150mm), I can ride almost pain free, and the chronic inflammation is now greatly diminished.

I found Focus because I am a member of the adjoining gym. I had a partial knee replacement (and 2 follow up surgeries) about 15 years ago that flared up after a car accident. Since then, the constant pain has made it hard to live a normal life. When I started working out again, I realized that my knee was really holding me back so I wanted to get some help with relief. Kyle is one of the best PTs I have ever been to. Between being a powerlifter, my knee replacement, and the accident, I have been to a lot of doctors and PTs with varying levels of effectiveness. Kyle really listens, offers realistic incremental movements, and obviously knows his stuff. Once my knee started feeling better, we realized my back had been compensating for it for so long that it had issues as well. We worked through those and I'm back on my knee regimen. Not having unrelenting burning and shooting pain has allowed me to squat and do lunges again. Obviously, nothing will ever be perfect, and it will take a long time to undo years of physical damage and protective behavior but I haven't felt this good and optimistic in a very long time. Thank you for helping me move forward with doing what I love. Each milestone is a gift. I also have to mention that the front office ladies are so amazing. They are fun to chat with while waiting for appointments, they explain insurance and billing really well, and are suuuper nice about scheduling and rescheduling. Overall a 13/10 experience!

Kasia payed attention to what I needed and the exercises she gave me were right on target and took care of my problem! I really liked the time and individual attention she gave me!

I can't say enough good things about every physical therapist I've worked with at Focus. From needing a tune up on my knee before a winter of skiing or support and healing after major orthopedic injuries, they have helped me get back to 100% for 9 years now.
